Uniform Requirements

2017 - 2018 School Year

Uniform Code and Guidelines

Summer uniforms are worn from the first day of school through October, then again from April through the last day of school.  Winter uniforms are worn from November through March, and include a uniform shoe. Mass uniform is worn on all Mass and liturgy days.

Students will be expected to know when the liturgy/Mass days are scheduled and dress appropriately for the entire day. Students are expected to arrive at school in proper and complete uniform and remain appropriately dressed for the entire school day. Only Goretti-approved sweaters and blazers may be worn with the uniform.

Academics is our most important priority and we want all of our students in classes. We will, however, hold students out of their classes if they are not in the proper dress code. Students will not be able to return to class until the matter is resolved. Again, we do not want students to be out of class, but we also feel strongly that the uniform policy must be followed
correctly by all students. There will be no grace period provided.

Please refer to the student handbook for any questions regarding uniforms or contact our Dean of Students.
