Juli Swarner ’18: Herald-Mail Student Standout

Senior Juli Swarner has been recognized as Herald-Mail Media’s Student Standout for the week of October 23rd. In addition to being an honor student, Juli has totaled 444 service learning hours and serves in over eight clubs and two varsity sports. She is a member of the National Honors Society, SGA Class Vice President and SGA Executive Vice President, a Gael Ambassador, member of FCA, Rotary Interact Club, and peer minister. She volunteers for Hagerstown Community College for Kids. As a sophomore, she was selected to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth (HOBY) Leadership seminar and has been a team alumni leader running the seminar in the following years. Juli is a varsity member of the girls volleyball and lacrosse teams, a 3-year co-captain in volleyball and a 2017 co-captain for lacrosse. She has won both the volleyball and girls lacrosse Coaches Awards in the past.
