Goretti Welcomes Carbaugh as Director of Institutional Advancement


HAGERSTOWN, MD – With over 16 years of experience that entails event planning, public speaking, fundraising, development, grant writing and marketing experience, Jennifer Carbaugh will be joining the Goretti community officially on July 1, 2017 as the Director of Institutional Advancement.

Jennifer was recently the Grant Writer/Circuit Rider for Maryland Rural Development Corporation and was Vice President of a local non-profit. She is a St. Maria Goretti Graduate Class of 1993 along with Jason Carbaugh, now husband of 19 years. They have 2 children enrolled at Goretti; Jacob (Senior) and Madison (Sophomore) and Kennedy Grace (First-grader) at St. Mary’s Catholic School and reside in Hagerstown.

Additionally her experience includes; Volunteer Board Member of Girls, Inc., a 2016 Leadership Washington County Graduate and Rotary member of 3 years. Jennifer will be representing the school throughout the four-state area and her experience, relationships, network and grant writing will serve families well to take St. Maria Goretti to the next level.  She plans to build strong corporate and community partnerships as well as strategic growth. Chris Cosentino, the new incoming president, said he was pleased to be able to bring back an alumna and a current Goretti parent with such a strong background in development and apparent passion for the school.

St. Maria Goretti High School is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory school located in Hagerstown, Maryland and serves students in the tristate area.
