St. Maria Goretti High School

During the weeks of June 12-17 and 19-24, 2011, St. Maria Goretti High School and the youth groups of St. Mary and St. Ann Catholic Churches attended mission trips with Catholic Heart Workcamp.  The first trip included 30 youth and adults who traveled to Philadelphia, PA.  The second mission trip included an additional 13 participants who traveled to Lancaster, PA.  We were especially fortunate to have Fr. Collin Poston and Fr. Martin Nocchi accompany us and serve as role models for our youth.

Service work performed during the week included cleaning the apartments of elderly residents, trimming yards, rebuilding the interior of homes, and cleaning a church.  The evenings were filled with fun worship and praise activities.  Our youth had an amazing experience and look forward to next year’s Mission Trip!
