Scoreboard Dedicated To Kim Kell
The scoreboard on the athletic field at Goretti was recently dedicated in honor of longtime teacher and coach Kim Kell. During the ceremony on Homecoming Weekend, Mr. Kell was recognized for all that he has given to Goretti. Since the mid-1970′s, Mr. Kell has filled many roles on campus, from teacher to baseball coach and many, many more.
The Goretti family would like to thank Mr. Kell for his countless contributions to our community!
Fall athletes shine
Congratulations to the girl’s cross country team for winning its first ever IPSL championship. The Gaels placed seven runners in the top ten. Maddie Foland ’16, Taylor Blenckstone ’17 and Lily Foland ’16 finished 1-2-3 for Goretti to lead the way.
Nik Steiner ’15 enjoyed tremendous success on the golf course as well. Nik shot a 39 to finish second at the IPSL championship, played at Beaver Creek Country Club. Nik won the city championship by one stroke two days later, firing a 39 at Fountain Head Country Club.
Congratulations to all!
Goretti Baseball Field Gets New Infield
Fans will notice a big difference on the Goretti baseball field this spring. Work was recently completed on a job to add sod on the infield, which had previously been all dirt. Coaches and players alike are excited for the season to begin in March!
Physical Evaluation Form for athletes
To participate on any Goretti athletic team students must complete a ‘Physical Evaluation Form’. Athletes may not participate in practices or contests until this form is completed and returned to Head Athletic Trainer Thomas Chatfield. Physical Evaluation Form
