This season, Keeley set four school records for the Gaels. She set individual records in the 100-backstroke and 100-breaststroke and was also a member of the record-setting relay teams in the 200-medley and 400-freestyle.
Boy’s basketball team visits NYC
The boys basketball team played in the ‘Big Apple Classic’ in New York City in January. Goretti alum Dave Gruver ’83 hosted the Gaels at the UGG Austalia corporate office on 5th Avenue (pictured below). Despite a close loss to New York City power St. Raymond’s from The Bronx, a great time was had by all.
Scoreboard Dedicated To Kim Kell
The scoreboard on the athletic field at Goretti was recently dedicated in honor of longtime teacher and coach Kim Kell. During the ceremony on Homecoming Weekend, Mr. Kell was recognized for all that he has given to Goretti. Since the mid-1970′s, Mr. Kell has filled many roles on campus, from teacher to baseball coach and many, many more.
The Goretti family would like to thank Mr. Kell for his countless contributions to our community!
