Students of the Month

We are proud to recognize two students each month who, by their actions, set a positive example for others within the school. Students of the Month exemplify and embody the spirit of the St. Maria Goretti High School mission. An Underclassman (Freshman or Sophomore) and an Upperclassman (Junior or Senior) are chosen by the Faculty as Students of the Month, with consideration given to the following attributes: classroom performance, involvement in school activities, positive attitude, respect for others, promotion of school spirit, good citizenship, helpfulness and concern for others, and everyday applications of Christian ideals.

Students of the Month are honored with recognition at a school wide assembly. They receive a certificate, and their names are posted in the front lobby of the school and on the school website. Additionally, students are rewarded with gift certificates for both a school lunch and a local favorite spot.
